Criminal Code (Child Sexual Offences Reform) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2019

This bill implements recommendations from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. It creates new offences requiring adults to report child sexual abuse to police (including information from religious confession), makes it a crime to fail to protect children in institutional settings, criminalises child-like sex dolls, and enables prosecution of historical abuse that was previously time-barred.

Trading (Allowable Hours) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022

This bill simplifies Queensland's retail trading hours framework and strengthens protections for retail workers who don't want to work extended hours. Integrity and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2023

This bill implements major integrity reforms recommended by the Coaldrake and Yearbury reviews. It overhauls lobbying regulation to stop conflicts of interest and 'dual hatting', strengthens the independence of Queensland's five core integrity bodies by giving parliamentary committees more say in appointments and funding, and expands the Ombudsman's powers to investigate non-government organisations that deliver government services.

Education (Overseas Students) Bill 2018

Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2018
