Attacked the budget over broken royalty promises undermining resources investment, cut exploration programs and cuts to Logan roads funding.

As opposition resources spokesman, condemned the bill as breaking the LNP's promise and hurting both farmers and gas companies, and criticised the rushed amendments that breached the parliament's same question rule.

Acknowledged positive elements such as information sharing and re-engagement of young people, but argued the bill is a distraction that misses the opportunity to address the core challenges teachers face, including violence in classrooms.
